fees & funding
King’s Academy of Education is committed to offering education that is both academically excellent and financially realistic.
Transparent tuition fees
All tuition fees are clearly published in advance and apply equally to all students, regardless of nationality. We do not operate differential pricing for international students.
Our current tuition fee for the academic year on our L4 Certificate in Music With Theology (120 credits) is:
£3,295 per year
This fee reflects the true cost of delivery for our programmes, including teaching, assessment, academic support, and external validation where applicable.
The fee for our vocational L4 Certificate in Theology (15 credits) is:
£300
Why our fees are different
We are able to keep fees at this level because:
We prioritise teaching and student formation over institutional expansion
We operate at an intentionally small scale
We do not rely on international recruitment to subsidise domestic provision
We maintain lean administrative structures
This allows us to focus resources where they matter most: in the classroom and in student support.
Funding and financial planning
Students are responsible for arranging their own funding and living costs. As our programmes sit outside the standard university funding model, students should not assume eligibility for UK student finance.
We encourage all applicants—UK and international—to consider carefully the full cost of study and to contact us if they require clarity about programme structure or payment schedules.
