Martin Cooper — Creative Team & Training Lead, King's Academy Lead Lecturer
Martin has worked as a professional musician for over 20 years, and has written and produced songs for Sky TV, BMG Publishing, Future Music and many others. He has worked as a live and studio session guitar player and as Principal Lecturer at a UK university. He oversees the Creative Team, lectures at the Academy and is an elder at King’s.

Oli Stevens — King's Academy Lead Lecturer
Oli taught GCSE and A-Levels from 2010-2018 and is the lead elder at King’s. He is a lead lecturer on our Theology programmes.

Faye Streek — King's Academy Lead Lecturer
Faye is an established session vocalist and writer with No.1 records and award-winning soundtracks. Her work has featured across global networks (inc. BBC, Sky, and CBS), international advertising campaigns and platforms like Splice.
A BGT-finalist MD and University Lecturer with an MA in Popular Music, Faye designs and delivers training for universities, conferences, courses and artists internationally. She has led worship across Europe and is part of the creative team at King’s.

Rich Butt — Worship Team Lead & Music Lecturer
Rich has been working in various guises in the music industry for the past 17 years. He’s worked with Hollywood Actresses and Mercury Prize winning artists alongside touring with International Worship Leader Noel Robinson for over a decade.
Songwriting is Rich’s passion and he runs lectures and seminars helping with songwriting and arranging skills.

Andrew Wilson — King's Academy Guest Lecturer
Andrew holds a PhD from King’s College, London is the teaching pastor at King’s Church London and a columnist for Christianity Today. He’s the author of several books, including Remaking the World, Incomparable, and God of All Things. Andrew is a guest lecturer on our Theology programmes.

Kate Eason — King's Academy Teacher
Kate has been Principal of Stagecoach Performing Arts schools since 2010, specialising in Drama, Singing and Voice skills. She runs our Performing Arts Academy for young children and in an Academy of Education lecturer.

Paul Baker — King's Academy Lead Lecturer
Paul holds a PhD in Philosophy and a BA Hons in Theology and has written several academic papers and books. He is one of our Theology lead lecturers and also handles some of our Internal Quality Assurance.

Neil Costello — Audio Team Lead & In-House Producer/Engineer
Neil has been a studio producer and engineer for 40 years and worked with artists ranging from Gloria Gaynor to Noel Richards to Cozy Powell. He is a highly skilled session guitar player and helps teach students how to use digital audio workstations (DAWs) and live sound skills.

Trevor Michael — King's Academy Guest Lecturer
Trevor is a mix engineer who has toured extensively around the world with artists such as Delirious? and Matt Redman. These days, he focuses primarily on studio work, mixing for artists including Snow Patrol, Jacob Collier, Martin Smith, and Bethel Music, as well as for organizations such as Polydor, Capitol Records and Disney. In 2024, he mixed the Dolby Atmos version of the GRAMMY-nominated “Holy Forever” by Jenn Johnson and CeCe Winans. Trev is one of our regular guest lecturers on the Music courses.
