This course provides a strong foundation in the authority, reliability, and storyline of Scripture. Students begin by exploring how we received the Bible and why it can be trusted (KT11), followed by an introduction to the core themes, purpose, and distinctives of the four Gospels (KT12). The course then moves into major apologetic issues and contemporary cultural challenges facing the church today (KT13).

Later in the academic year, the focus shifts to understanding key doctrines of the Christian faith through a clear and accessible study of Bible Doctrine (KT14), before concluding with a practical and theological exploration of Mission—its biblical foundations, global context, and relevance to everyday Christian life (KT15).

Each module consists of four weeks of teaching followed by a dedicated assessment week, during which students will complete either an in-class presentation or submit an essay.

The course is designed to be manageable, engaging, and directly applicable to Christian life and ministry. By the end of the programme, students will have grown in biblical literacy, theological confidence, and the ability to articulate their faith with clarity, and will be well prepared to continue into further theological study if they choose.
