Level 4 Certificate in Theology

Students study five core units:

  • How Did We Get The Bible & Can We Trust It?

  • The Four Accounts Of The Gospel

  • Apologetics & Contemporary Challenges

  • Bible Doctrine

  • Mission

    All units are formally assessed against clearly defined Level 4 learning outcomes.

Learning is supported through our online platform, including guided resources, video teaching, and Greek and Hebrew tutorials to deepen biblical understanding. This programme combines theological depth with practical application for ministry or further study.

Delivery: 25 academic weeks in-person at King’s Centre, 2.5 hours per week (Tuesday evenings) & VLE content

Starts: Tuesday 15th September 2026 — Ends: Tuesday 20th April 2027

Total Qualification Time (TQT): 150 hours

Fee: £300 including assessment registration

Our Customised Qualification has been developed to meet the specific needs of our learners and has been accredited by NCFE demonstrating the quality and rigour.

NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), Wales (Qualifications Wales) and Northern Ireland (CCEA Regulation). This is an unregulated qualification and is not a nationally recognised qualification.

This qualification has been accredited as a Customised Qualification, and we have benchmarked the qualification’s learning outcomes and assessment criteria at Level (using a national framework’s level descriptors) to allow you to demonstrate the difficulty and depth of study.

On completion of the Customised Qualification, learners will receive a certificate of achievement. The certificate is evidence of the knowledge and skills gained by completing the qualification. This qualification has been accredited by NCFE under the Customised Qualification and the certificate of achievement will be issued directly by NCFE.

Recognition and progression opportunities are determined in line with individual institutions or employers in line with their admissions or recruitment policies.
